The first Hotdog Safari was in 2011 in Worcester, MA, but the roots of this tradition stretch back even further.

It all started with the legendary Big Bob Mahoney, who took all the kids in our neighborhood to various hot dog shops searching for the ultimate hot dog.

As the years passed, and we transitioned into adulthood, we longed to relive those delightful moments of camaraderie and culinary exploration.

And so, in 2011, we resurrected the tradition, transforming it into the grand event that it is today. The Hot Dog Safari evolved into an occasion for friends and family to embark on a quest to discover the most delicious, unique, and mouth-watering hot dogs around. A fusion of nostalgia and refined taste, our safari has grown exponentially since its rejuvenation.

In fact, our success knows no bounds! Not content with confining the hot dog adventure to Worcester alone, we took a leap of faith and expanded our horizons to the vibrant city of New Orleans. We eagerly look forward to hosting more hot dog safaris around the country. No matter where you reside, we are determined to make The Hot Dog Safari accessible to all.
